| DEFINITIONS - Film / Video Works: |

MilitaryTrainingProps.com does NOT rent any product at all.
For prop and puppet rentals, please go to Animal Maker's, Inc. |
|
|
Prop rental is daily, 7 day weekly flat may be negotiated. Travel time counts as part of the rental days. Props are generally defined as non-performing and are unable to take direction. They simply appear in a scene. |
|
|
Animatronic puppet rental is per day. Animatronic characters are puppets that take direction in front of the camera. |
|
|
A day's rental is 24 hours on all rental items, no prorating. |
|
| DISCOUNTS: |
|
|
|
Museums receive a discount of 15% off all item costs. Labor costs are NOT affected by this discount. The museum must meet the normal definition of a museum. |
|
|
Student Films receive 15% off all item costs. Labor costs are NOT affected by this discount. Student films also need not pay any copyright fees or costs. An Animal Makers Inc. credit on the film is required to qualify. The film must be for awards only and not a commercial venture. Also, the usual $1,500 minimum is reduced to $750 |

| TERMS: |
|
|
|
Animal Makers Inc reserves the right to display completed works, supplied by the production company/ad agency upon completion of project for the sole purpose of displaying work participated in by Military Training Props / Animal Makers, Inc., on the Military Training Props / Animal Makers, Inc. web-site. |
|
|
Terms for customers with approved credit are "Net 15". Equipment will not be shipped to new customers or those without approved credit except when the order is prepaid or C.O.D. |
|
|
Mastercard, Visa, major trailers checks, cash transfer, cash and approved company check are all accepted at MTP / AMI. AMEX is NOT accepted. |
|
|
A 3% fee is added to all rentals and/or purchases paid by credit card to cover credit card fees. |
|
|
Daily rental fees pay per day out of the MTP / AMI studio (no grace period). |
|
|
Rentals are for Time Out, not time actually utilized. |
|
|
Client must complete the credit card application, present it to the MTP / AMI credit department, and be accepted or the rental / work order will be C.O.D. |
|
|
A deposit of an amount equal to the rental fee is due before the any item leaves our shop. |
|
|
Terms are available upon receipt of mailed invoice for established accounts with approved credit. |
|
|
Proof of insurance valued at equal to the value of the rental is due before any item leaves our shop. |
|
|
California sales tax is not included in quotes or prices (Depending on sales and/or rentals, California sales tax may or may not apply). |
|
|
Shipping by common carrier is not included in original estimates. |
|
|
Client must insure item during round-trip shipping for replacement value. |
|
|
$1,500 minimum per show. Military Training Props / Animal Makers, Inc. is a manufacturer and cannot handle very small orders. |
|
|
15% student discount - applied to $1,500 minimums - must show proof of current enrollment in film classes at accredited school. |
|
|
Any directed damage will be the responsibility of client/production company. |
|
|
Rental Fees include one 24-hr. day of shooting for Puppets |
|
|
$1500 USD min per order. |
|
|
Purchase price includes: 90 day, in factory, parts & labor warranty; one year warranty against manufacturer defect. |
|
|
Freight, on set operation and/or installation is separate. |
|
|
Feature Buyout covers use within the film, but not in trailers, DVD special Behind-the-scenes. |
|
|
Subject to prior sale, price change or rental without further notice. |
|
|

Final delivery on most items within 8 weeks, if not in stock. |

| CREDITS: |
|
| At producer's discretion, any finished project that contains either front or back end credits that desires to list Military Training Props / Animal Makers, Inc. in those credits, will do so as follows: |
|
|
|
Feature Films, Television, Internet shows or series
"Animatronic Characters Created by Military Training Props / Animal Makers, Inc."
|
|
|
Print Publications (Local, National or International) (Within ad credits)
Any local, national or international print publications that feature Animal Maker's work must have Animal Makers, Inc. listed along with any other credits as www.animalmakers.com.
|
|
|
Public Presentation (Tradeshows, Displays, Museum Exhibitions, etc)
Any products featuring Animal Maker's work for public presentation must have the Animal Maker's logo displayed with references to www.animalmakers.com. |
|
| SHIPPING: |
|
|
|
All shipments are F.O.B. Simi Valley, CA by a standard carrier of Military Training Props / Animal Makers, Inc. choice, unless otherwise specified by the customer. |
|
|
It is recommended to use trucks equipped with air suspension for larger, more valuable model shipments. |
|
|
Claims: Upon acceptance by the carrier from MTP / AMI, the material becomes the property of the customer. All claims for damage (hidden or obvious) must be made by the customer to the carrier. All shipments received by the customer should be carefully exMTP / AMIned for any signs of damage before acceptance from the carrier. |
|
|
Returns: All returns must be authorized by MTP / AMI and are subject to a 15% restocking/refurbishing fee. All returns must be prepaid. All shipments that are shipped "Collect" or without a return authorization will be declined, unless there is written authorization from Military Training Props / Animal Makers, Inc. |
|
| OVERAGES: |
|
|
|
Please notify MTP / AMI if a return delay is expected. There will be an additional rental fee if an item is held longer than the scheduled return date. |
|
| ADDITIONAL CHARGES: |
|
|
|
Returned check: $25 |
|
|
Any damage beyond reasonable or customary wear and tear will be charged at shop rates to fix (approximately $75 per hour). Cleaning and repair charge at shop rate of $75 per hour if rental is returned in need of those services. |
|
|
Late payment: 20% annual interest for past due balances over 30 days. |
|
|
Client agrees to pay all reasonable collection and legal fees incurred in collection of any money owed or in enforcing any terms of this agreement. |
|
|
There will be an 18% handling charge on all outside services. |
|
|
A 3% fee is added to all rentals and/or purchases paid by credit card to cover credit card fees. |
|
|
Boxing, crating, packing, and handling charges are NOT included (shipping and handling fees WILL be charged). |
|
| WARRANTY: |
|
|
|
Military Training Props / Animal Makers, Inc will provide a certificate of authenticity to buyer. |
|
|
All models created by Military Training Props / Animal Makers, Inc. are warranted against failure and performance. The first 90 days includes all labor and materials. One year after original delivery date, the warranty is for materials. The customer is responsible for shipping both ways. This warranty covers normal wear and tear. Models that are subjected to abnormal or excessive wear and tear will be repaired at normal shop rates ($75 per hour). |

Animal Makers' models are NOT warranted as appropriate for any particular use, shot, or situation. |
|
|
Any Self-Maintenance, outside vendor programming and/or component alterations which then damages any part of MTP / AMI product voids MTP / AMI warranty. |
|
| Cancellations: |
|
|
|
Any Signed Contracts requiring custom work and that are cancelled within;
- 24 hours after signing the contract = 50% of contract payable to MTP / AMI.
- 48 hours after signing the contract = 75% of contract payable to MTP / AMI.
- 72 hours after signing the contract = 100% of contract payable to MTP / AMI. |

Any Signed Contracts not requiring any custom work and that are cancelled within;
- 24 hours after signing the contract = 10% of contract payable to MTP / AMI if any prep work was completed.
- 48 hours after signing the contract = 50% of contract payable to MTP / AMI if any prep work was completed.
- 72 hours after signing the contract = 100% of contract payable to MTP / AMI if any prep work was completed. |

All percentages are subject to MTP / AMI determination of costs incurred and potential loss of work. |
